Morning & Evening Devotions
MORNING
WHO LONG:
But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. (NLT) ( 1 Timothy 6:9 )
Ask around and everyone will tell you they wish they had more money. But yet, more than likely, there is food on the table and clothes on their backs. We must be diligent in our thoughts to avoid longing to be rich. This greediness leaves us vulnerable to take risks that lead to ruin all for the sake of being rich. Seek out contentment in the Lord and you will receive many blessings.
EVENING
YOUR FAVOR:
Send me a sign of your favor. Then those who hate me will be put to shame, for you, O LORD, help and comfort me. (NLT) ( Psalm 86:17 )
We all need signs from God every now and then to get through life. It’s not just a sign for ourselves, but for other people to recognize. This, in turn, speaks to those who may not have a relationship with Him. When you turn to God for comfort in desperate times it strengthens your relationship with God. Remember, He cares.
Today was like any ordinary day working on a Job Site. Nothing really fun to share. Oh! It did rain where I live so that was a plus! Hooray!
As always, Have a Blessed Day!
