Morning & Evening Devotions
MORNING
NEW STRENGTH:
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. (NLT) ( Isaiah 40:31 )
Come one, come all, everyone who is tired. If you are exhausted and feel heavy like you’ve been hit by a truck, there is hope. You will once again soar. It is time to look to the Lord and trust Him to rejuvenate you. Give rest to your body and He will give you the endurance you need to continue.
EVENING
SHADOW OF SHAME:
Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. (NLT) ( Psalm 34:5 )
Shadows of shame certainly do darken our face. There’s nothing like shame that makes you want to hide. We all have things in our past where we are filled with regret. The power of God’s grace can overcome anything we have done. We must first look to God and He will help give us radiant faces.
Today productivity consisted of continuing on my grandmothers bathroom. We are hoping tomorrow to be our last day. My grandma picked out a color and we rolled it on and com to find out in the end, she really didn’t like the color. Ahhh! So tomorrow we are redoing the walls. Yay!
Until next time! Have a blessed night!
