Morning & Evening Devotions

MORNING

SPOUTING OFF:

Spouting off before listening to the facts is both shameful and foolish. (NLT) ( Proverbs 18:13 )

Have you ever accused someone based upon limited knowledge? It’s always embarrassing being set straight with the facts after you just revealed yourself to be a fool. Let’s not forget that shameful feeling. Instead, let’s use it as fuel to probe out the truth with an open heart instead of spouting off on half-based truth.

EVENING

DISCIPLINES THOSE:

For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child. (NLT) ( Hebrews 12:6 )

Do you feel like God is disciplining you? Take comfort and know that He is not attacking you. Your discipline is a result of His love for you. It will make you a better person and in hindsight the lesson will be valuable. Take each day as it comes and accept His love for you.

My day required me continuing to watch my favorite show on Netflix “Friends”. Super lame day, yes I know. But…as I was watching the show I was cleaning the house! Big Shocker to everybody in my house that I did some cleaning. lol

Until next time! Have a Blessed night!
